The CVM program provides a free voice mail box where people can 
access their messages. Messages can be accessed 24 hours a day 
from any phone, and are private and confidential (available in 
English and Spanish). The CVM program is for any individual in 
need. The program empowers individuals and improves their ability 
to conduct the business of their lives.

The Pittsburgh, PA Community Voice Mail program is part of the 
national network of CVM sites that help people living in poverty, 
transition and homelessness rebuild their lives by connecting them 
to jobs, housing, information and hope. Headquartered in Seattle, 
WA, the CVM National Office website is www.cvm.org .

• No income, household size or residency restrictions

• No minimum or maximum time limit. If the client is actively using the 
system, they may continue on the program as long as they are a 
client of the member agency
