Through a contract with the Allegheny County Department of Human Services and Office of Medical Assistance Transportation, Travelers Aid can provide roundtrip transportation to eligible consumers to attend billable services to medical assistance.

Who is eligible

The Travelers Aid MATP program assists Allegheny County residents who receive medical assistance insurance to billable medical services. Consumers must be deemed eligible by Travelers Aid and MATP, must reside in Allegheny County and must verify all services to receive assistance.

How to enroll

Applicants must complete the Medical Assistance Transportation Program Application and Cover Letter and submit for processing within 30 days of signature. Application processing takes approximately 5-7 business days.
