COVID-19 General Medical appointment transportation
Travelers Aid can potentially help clients experiencing difficulty in getting to/from medical appointments during this difficult pandemic.
Who Is Eligible
A client's eligibility is determined case by case. Travelers Aid will consider assistance in cases of clients experiencing hardship due to COVID-19. Travelers Aid may decide it is more appropriate for clients to enroll in another Travelers Aid medical program. Not all situations are guaranteed to be approved.

Duration and Type of Assistance Offered
Assistance is provided in the form of the most cost-effective means to allow transit to and from the client's home to their medical appointment and considering the client's personal situation and need. Assistance is usually limited to one incident only (with exceptions depending upon the situation). Travelers Aid is offering this program through grant funding and cannot guarantee continual funding.
